Cody served as a Capital Campaign Advisor to Friends of Noise, supporting their effort to open The Off Beat, an all-ages music venue in Portland's Kenton neighborhood.

The work included major donor wealth screening, capital campaign advising, and grant prospecting and writing focused on securing capital campaign specific grants.

The Off Beat opened in fall 2025 and was featured on OPB's Think Out Loud.
